We are a family run business who pride ourselves on the quality of care and attention to detail that all our horses receive. None of this would be possible without our small but close-knit team. Let me introduce them!
Hannah
Hannah is my right hand man and an integral part of life at Claypole Equestrian. Groom, rider and occasional 'nanny' Hannah's wealth of experience is invaluable. An experienced horsewoman, she is fantastic with the horses and as she is petite and lightweight she is perfect for riding the ponies and backing the youngsters. I have known and worked with Hannah for years and trust her implicitly. Read Hannah's biography in the link below.
Dad
My dad Alistair is an amazing help around the yard. There is nothing he cannot turn his hand to, although he draws the line at riding! He likes nothing more than a good maintenance or DIY project and he keeps everything shipshape and in working order. He can often be found on his mower in the summer (seen here on the left) and it explains why he always has a great tan!
Wilf
Wilf is our quality control manager and can often be found inspecting our work and generally overseeing tasks. His favourite job however, is supervising with any tea making duties as this is when he might just get a biscuit!
He is not always so serious though, in fact most of the time he is running round the yard and spinning in circles chasing his tail. He keeps us all smiling on even the coldest days!

Henry

Henry is our apprentice. He has a long way to go but is already showing great enthusiasm for the job! He has started his ridden career and can be seen here giving 4* event rider Jock Paget a few tips!
