Cobweb

Cobweb is a 15hh dun Connemara x ISH 2016 gelding. An absolutely stunning model. Would make a lovely event horse or a cracking worker! He has super conformation, ability and a temperament to die for.

We bought Cobweb as an unbacked 3 year old in July 2019 and he has become one of the family (as you can see from the pictures). He has three established paces and has started lateral work. He has an uphill, active trot and a super rhythmical canter. He has been to unaffiliated dressage competitions scoring 68% with exciting comments from the judges.  Cobweb is jumping courses of 90cm with scope to burn. He's really brave and careful with all filler and loves his job. He has been to various unaffiliated shows being exceptional in both the collecting and the show ring. He has XC schooled and is fab with water, banks and ditches.

This lovely horse hacks alone and in company, and is super in traffic and happy with our local double decker bus! He really is one in a million and will only be sold to a 5* home. Excellent with kids, dogs, farrier and to travel and clip.

Milo - SOLD

Picture
  1. 15hh 2015 dun Connie / TB gelding.  Milo has been with us for just over a year - we bought him direct from his breeder as an unbacked 3 year old. He has 3 lovely paces, been to his first dressage competitions scoring 65% with lots more to give.  He has a super technique over a fence, extremely bold and brave as well as being careful. He has been out some some unaffiliated competitions and always gives 100%.  XC having no hang-ups - fine with banks, water and ditches.

  2. Milo is super to do in all ways: clip, catch, shoe and travel.  Lovely to handle and be around and fantastic to hack and in traffic.  He is now ready to crack on in any discipline.
  3. Please get in touch if you would like more information.

 Mickey - SOLD

Picture
16.1hh 2015 piebald ISH gelding by Soldier Blue. Mickey has been with us for over a year, coming to us as an unbacked 3yr old so we know him inside out. He is a middleweight, but extremely light on his feet, lovely in the hand, forward going and very polite.

He has been to several dressage competitions scoring up to 68% and receiving lovely comments from the judges. He is a very uphill striking horse with a super balanced canter. He has started mediums and lateral work. Bold scopey jump, brave with fillers and extremely careful. XC schooled and good with banks, water and ditches. Brilliant to hack and with traffic.

Very sad sale of this genuine boy. He could turn his hoof to anything; BD, BE, BS or hunting home. Good to catch, clip and travel. Easy to do and a dream to handle.

5* home only.

Danny is a 4yr old bay ISH gelding.

He has settled in really well and enjoyed his first pamper session with us!
This horse is a lovely mover and has proved to be super to work with. He has been backed and ridden away very happily and is now enjoying a winter break with his friends Mickey and Milo. All the boys will come back into work in the Spring when they have matured.

MAY 19:
Danny is showing us just what a quality horse he is. Lovely to do in all ways and his paces are improving even more as he gets stronger. A really really nice horse!

MAR 19:
Danny has started work in the school and the quality of his paces is evident even as a young horse just starting his ridden career. He has also been out hacking and took everything in his stride, even the dustmen!!

Milo

Whisper is a 15.3hh, 2014 bay ISH mare.

A lovely compact, forward going mare. Lovely on the flat and always does an accurate test, scoring 31 first time out eventing. Keen and careful showjumping and completely unfazed by fillers. This mare loves XC! She is great with water, ditches and banks. She went Autumn hunting a few times last season proving to be very sensible. She is good to hack and in traffic. Good to shoe and clip and very easy to handle - she is not at all mareish.

This little horse is a fantastic competition prospect and has the scope, ability and brain to be a fantastic BE100u18/ONu18 horse. She needs a few more miles on the clock and will be sold to a knowledgeable competition home only to help fulfil her huge potential.

Whisper - talented competition prospect

Ollie - SOLD

Picture
Ollie is a 4yr old (2014) ISH 15.3hh grey gelding.

The perfect fun all-rounder, small or working hunter.

We bought Ollie in 2017 as an unbacked 3 yr old. Since being with us he has been an absolute dream to produce! He is extremely well put together with good conformation, clean limbs, straight moving and the most beautiful head.  He is short coupled with enough substance to take a days hunting, but athletic and forward thinking enough to event. A real find for anyone looking for a lovely young and versatile horse.

Ollie has lightly competed in dressage, SJ and eventing. He always produces a correct and accurate test, has a bold scopey jump and is not remotely fazed by fillers. Happy with banks, water, steps and ditches.  He is a lovely young horse who would give someone a lot of enjoyment as a smart all-rounder, but equally with enough quality to show and contest WH classes.  Ollie is good to hack, shoe, catch and with traffic.  He has a lovely kind personality and is well used to children and dogs.  This is a very sad sale - he has literally become one of the family!

No novices please - he is a super kind horse but young and deserves an experienced and knowledgable home.

Racehorse - SOLD

Picture
“Racehorse" is a 16hh 2009 bay TB gelding.  Racehorse has been out of training for nearly 2 years and is eligible for ROR classes and has been beautifully produced. He is an extremely attractive horse, who has three super paces. He has been to several dressage competitions where he nearly always wins with scores just shy of 70%. He has been lightly competed SJ and XC although he is green, he is keen! Good to shoe, catch and clip. Travels in a trailer or lorry. He’s a lovely horse to have around and ready to progress up through the grades!

Not a novice ride, but only being due to being green. Would make a super dressage horse as he is more established in this area.

Must sell hence reduced price of £1500. A real bargain for someone.

5 star competition home only. More photos and video available - give Becky a call for a chat.

Dokey - SOLD

Picture
Dokey is a 2013 ISH dun gelding standing at 16.1hh by Rainstown Hollow (tb) out of an ISH mare. He was bought direct from his breeder so we know everything about him. He has been under saddle for 4 months and in this short space of time he has proved what a gentleman he is. An eye catching boy; he has smart, natural paces and has been to a couple of dressage competitions where he was impeccably behaved and scored a respectable 66% and won last time out. He has just started jumping and is cantering over a small course.

Dokey is good to load, shoe, clip and hack, and has seen plenty of traffic. He has been ridden out by a 13 year old girl - that is how much we trust him. He really is a super young horse who could turn his hoof to anything. Would suit a mother/child share, or a mature lady who just wanted to dressage and hack. He is a young horse, but a lovely chap to have around.

UPDATE: 8 May 2018. Dokey went out to a dressage show last weekend and won his class with some lovely comments from the judge. Such a clever boy!

Eugene - SOLD

Picture
Eye-catching coloured
Eugene is a 15.3hh blue and white 2014 ISH gelding. We bought him in June 2017 as an unbacked 3 year old. We started him in the autumn of that year, and turned him away for the winter to grow and mature. What a star he has proved to be!  He rides beautifully on the flat, with a super big walk, a really flashy trot and a well balanced canter. He has been to several dressage tests where he has scored 68% and the judges adore him. Totally unflappable, this chap really enjoys his jumping, in fact the spookier the jump the better! He has xc schooled on several occasions and is happy with water, banks and ditches.

Eugene is brilliant to hack and excellent with traffic (he goes round our lanes where he meets tractors and buses without batting an eyelid). Super manners on the floor as well as ridden, this horse has a super temperament. Good to shoe, box, clip and catch. He would make an ideal mother/daughter share.

He is still only 4 years old and needs to further his education, but has an old head on young shoulders. Eugene could seriously turn his hoof to anything. Smart enough to show or happy to be a super all rounder!

XC schooling 2018
Eugene's first dressage competition - he was amazing!
Totally cool about steps up and down
First time jumping under saddle March 2018. Look at those knees!
First time seeing a water tray - he tackles anything with enthusiasm!

Clipped and back in work January 2018

Albecyn Dunstoppable - SOLD

Ernie is a 2012 dun gelding standing at 16.2hh. An absolutely delightful horse to own. Beautiful on the flat with an exceptional balanced canter. He has started lateral work and mediums. Now started his eventing career scoring low 30's with plenty more to come. His naturally good canter makes him seriously powerful and scopey over a fence. He is extremely careful and brave too. Naturally bold he is a natural XC horse and not phased by water, banks or ditches. He has jumped clear round every 90cm track we have taken him to (PC events at BE courses) and has placed 2nd at BE80. Scope to burn, will easily go Novice or beyond! Ready to go BE100 now.

Would suit competition rider or young rider who is capable and ambitious!  Brilliant in traffic, good to load/farrier etc Just a complete pleasure to have around! This horse has so much potential and just wants to work and please. Guaranteed to put a smile on your face - this is going to be a very very sad sale! He is a mild shiverer, which does not affect his way of going and this is reflected in his price.

£3250 - open to sensible offers

Blackwoodland Dipper (Blue) - on loan

Picture

6 year old (2008) grey dun registered Connemara gelding by Cloon-Eile Cashel. Standing at 14.1hh, Blue is set to make a serious competition prospect.

He is a lovely quality pony and is really easy to do.  He has a lovely willing nature, a fabulous attitude to his work and is very affectionate.  He has three lovely active, uphill paces with a consistent way of going scoring around 75% in all his dressage tests, and always placed in the top three.

He also has a super jump. He is both brave and scopey.  He is jumping courses confidently at 1m and schooling at home over 1.15m - this pony literally has springs!

Blue hacks both alone and in company and is unfazed by traffic, we even use him to nanny the young horses, a real old head on young shoulders type.  Good to catch, clip and shoe and has travelled in both a lorry and trailer.  Always snaffle mouthed.  Blue is an absolute pleasure to have on the yard.  He is talented enough for a competitive teenager, but sensible enough for a granny to hack!

Blue is a much loved member of our team, however he would really enjoy having some fun with a young rider and is very talented.  Please get in touch for a chat if you are interested.

Edmond SOLD

Quality competition horse standing at 15.3hh. 2011 blue and white ISH gelding by Soldier Blue (Cruising) out of a Diamond Lad mare.  A really eye catching, quality and unusually marked horse.  He is fantastically bred including both Cruising and King of Diamond lines.

Edmond is a lovely character to have on the yard and has fantastic elastic paces, including a really super hindleg and a trot with real cadence. He has a really balanced canter for his age which makes jumping natural to him. He was backed and turned away last year and is now in full work proving to be really straightforward and genuine. He has just been out to his first unaffiliated dressage and won his class on a score of 67%.

Jumping a course of fences with fillers at home and away. Proving to be a careful, brave and scopey. He has XC schooled and is totally unfazed by water, banks and ditches, and has just been to his first hunter trial. Brilliant to hack and in traffic. Just started his competitive career and will be aimed at age classes this year.

UPDATE: Edmond has just been to his first ODE and was placed 4th!

Edmond is good to catch, clip and shoe - he is just lovely to have around.

Many thanks to Benjamin Clark for this lovely image

Thomas - SOLD

PictureThank you to W Parrott for the great images
Stunning little event, working hunter and all rounder.

15.3hh, 4yr old (2012) steel grey gelding by Parsons Rasputin out of an ISH mare. Thomas is a homebred British warmblood. He has super conformation being short coupled with straight clean limbs. He has 3 lovely uphill paces with real lift to his trot and a really balanced canter for his age. A really eye catching horse.

Thomas has competed in several unaffiliated dressage shows and most recently completed two unaffiliated one day events with lovely comments from the judges - with a score of 28.6 in his most recent outing. He has a bold careful jump and is totally unfazed by any filler. Brilliant XC too and happy with water, ditches and banks. The two ODE's he contested were round BE courses where he was placed in both with great dressage scores.

Thomas has no vices and is a lovely horse to do. He would suit a competent teenager/small adult or mother/daughter share. A real head turner with lots to give. Not a novice ride - purely because he is a 4yr old - but as young horses go he really is superb!

Terry - SOLD

Picture
16hh chestnut gelding, 6 yrs old (2010). This lovely ISH has naturally flashy paces with an uphill trot with lots of lift and presence.

He is a very quick learner and lateral work comes easy.  He has established mediums, counter canter and basic lateral work. Terry has a very balanced canter which is so comfortable you could sit on it all day long! He has too many wins to mention, never lets you down and is always in the top three. He is always really consistent and tries so hard.  He has qualified for the Regionals at both Prelim and Novice, and he won his Petplan Area Festival at Sheepgate Equestrian with a score of over 70% qualifying him for the finals at Hartpury in April 2016.  A real head turner with lots more to give and the ability to move up the levels.

Terry has had numerous mentions in Horse & Hound, and is simply a lovely to horse to handle and have on the yard. He is a talented competition horse who is sensitive and off-the-aids to ride - he is safe and sane but would not be suitable for a beginner.

Good to hack and in traffic, shoe and box. He will stand patiently on the trailer all day long and is super easy to do at shows.  He would suit a young rider or small competent lady who want to produce a horse up the grades.
