Following the announcement of the Mary King clinic date in October we have been inundated with calls. We are now running a waitlist so if you are interested in a slot please do still call us. We are also welcoming spectators and will be offering refreshments through the day to try and raise money for the Nottinghamshire & Lincolnshire Air Ambulance, so please come along and enjoy the day with us :)
Little photo of Blue schooling at home this week - this pony really does have springs! We genuinely feel this little chap has a very exciting future ahead of him. The fact that he is so cute as well helps!

We are pleased to announce that we have three clinic dates arranged with international dressage rider Hannah Esberger-Shepherd. Please take a look at our Clinics page for all the details.
JP is back to run another clinic with us on Tuesday 7 May. Afternoon and evening slo
Today we welcomed two new arrivals to the yard which we are very excited about. Both lovely young event types for us to produce. The first is a 4yr old 15.3hh grey gelding by Cougar, out of a dam by Couvers Diamond Boy. The second is a 4yr old 16hh black gelding by Furioso out of an ISH mare. They have both been well handled and are now ready to get started on their education. We'll post regular updates on their progress (and of course lots of photos) on our 'Coming soon' and Facebook pages. I think we are going to have a lot of fun this summer!!
Sadly due to the appalling weather we made the decision to postpone the JP Sheffield clinic scheduled for this weekend. Whilst the arena is absolutely fine we do have to consider people that have to travel and poor JP having to stand in the freezing cold all day. Not to despair though - we have rescheduled for Sat 30 March so if anyone wants a slot please give us a call
We're pleased to announce that JP will be kicking off our season with a full day of clinics at Claypole Equestrian on Saturday 23 March. All levels and abilities catered for and for those of you that don't know JP, he is always encouraging and positive which makes him so popular as a trainer. Please email or call us to book a session.
We are thrilled to announce that one of the best loved and successful event riders in the country, Mary King, is coming to Claypole! Mary will be running a full day of clinics aimed at all levels and abilities. As soon as the date is confirmed we will post it on the website, along with details on how to book. No one could accuse the team at Claypole of being fair weather riders! We have managed to keep all the horses in work over the last couple of weeks despite the snow. At least we know we produce horses that are used to being worked in all conditions! There was a mug of hot soup for the rider at the end of this hack that's for sure! We've got some lovely quality hay for sale - big round bales at £20 each. Give me a call if you need any.
Thanks Becky |
